Why It Matters

ACME’s been working on a new social media platform for a while. Built around anonymous polling that is positive in nature, their app takes a new approach to social media engagement. Despite being limited to a handful of states, it is already one of the most popular free iPhone apps.

• The massive growth in users shows the advantage companies like ACME have when they launch a new product within their existing line of products and leverage a phased rollout.
• This made it really easy for ACME’s 7 billion MAU MAU to sign up for Pins in just 1 click.
